About This Site
Welcome to Southofindy.
For all you folks who live here now, in the past or relocating to the area. We’re your gateway to the Sunny Side of Indiana. We cover the area 6o miles due South of Indianapolis (or Indy as we locals call it) all the way south to what is called the Kentuckiana area.
This site has been a goal of mine for a number years due to the fact that in our state the focus on the news, weather and other related services is focused on the Indianapolis Metro area and North with the exception of Columbus. Those of us who live in the Seymour area and south are considered part of Southern Indiana whatever that is. Louisville Kentucky is 50 miles south and has the best news and weather coverage for the area.
Those of who were born and raised in Southern Indiana or Southofindy consider this area a great best place to live. There are major highways that connect us to the Indianapolis, Louisville and Cincinnati metro areas.
